Yep, that's pretty much it. Boils down to (IMHO) no communication btw. player & training staff over injury/injury concerns leading to coach's belief that player is dogging it (getting alternative treatments like acupuncture rather than icing it as the training staff recommended, etc.), leading coach to blow up at player in front of the entire team. Player then tells coach to fuck off in a very public way.

This will have no impact on the game on Saturday. Much like Iowa and Northwestern has proven, irrespective of who this MSU team plays, the biggest opponent to MSU is itself. We'd struggle against Minnesota State at this point.
Oh, remember in 2009 when MSU lost to the worst Big Ten coach in the last 20 years? They lost to a Minnesota team that had their second string QB in and their best WR out with injury. We could not stop them -- they scored 42. Not saying that is going to happen (our defense is at least competent), but based on the this year's team commitment to regaining the SOS label, I suspect we'll see Minnesota's best effort since that day in 2009.

He was a walk-on, so (per his read of the NCAA rules -- yeah, this oughta be good) he is free to go anywhere he'd like without restriction or waiting period.

He was insinuating his religious views were feminized and used against him. At least that's how I read it. He didn't go into detail the extent of his religious/spiritual views though.
That was an awesome read. Good for that kid. He should come to MSU. We need a WR.
