In the 1940's White Rock Sparkling Water used a topless fairy named Psyche to sell their product. She was neither buxom nor depicted as having sexual relations with an electric light switch.
Disney's version of Tinkerbell first appeared in their 1953 animated version of Peter Pan. Disney's Tinkerbell was modeled after actress Margaret Kerry.
