I think so. Look at how he played at the end of last year...if he only matches that, he's a first rounder. If he gets better, he's a high first rounder. Barring injury, he's going to be on his way to the NFL. I'd love to have him back, but very few players in his position would return.

I saw Cooper at the AWP camp this summer and he tore it up. No surprise he went on to earn offers at Michigan State and Notre Dame's camps. Has the frame to add some serious size. Athletic too.

It's tough for a lineman to contribute early especially with Cooper being pretty skinny for his frame.
Cooper definitely redshirts, Mannie puts 20lbs of explosive muscle on him so he can start terrorizing the Big Ten.
