My dog needs your prayers - UPDATE: He is at home doing WELL!

A fellow Spartan, Mark Dogtonio, needs your prayers. He was attacked by the neighbors dog yesterday. After 3+ hours in the Vet ER we finally went home. He has 4 puncture wounds which they are not too concerned with, but he has a bulging disc in his neck. The Vet said he either either got thrashed around or was trying to escape and got the bulging disc. They said he may need surgery to repair it. He was in so much pain, they had to sedate him just to evaluate him. He is my Spartan buddy in a house full of Buckeyes. He watches every MSU game with me on the couch. He is a pic of him getting cleaned up, and one right after he got home. TIA

My last dog tore both of his hind legs on his ACL a few years ago. They are resilient creatures and I am sure any dog named after a man who had a heart attack and was back on the sideline in the same season will pull through. Best of luck and well wishes for Mark Dogtonio

+1 for making me smile. Funny thing is, we found him as a stray about 1.5 yrs ago, and he is about 10+ yrs old and not neutered.....I laugh every time he walks away and I see "them" swinging" and think of his name.
