Myth Albom delivering commencement speech

  • Genuinely did not believe this story the first 5 times I read it.

    The guy has done nothing but disparage the University for 20 years and we ask him to show up at graduation?

    Does he have another book about a dead friend to promote?

    Very disappointed with the administration.

  • As an obsessed lurker, this post has brought me out. How representative of MSU is the rcmb? I'm guessing not much, but curious what others would think. Although, asking those that post here is probably not going to give an accurate picture.

    Definitely not representative, since the RCMB is the 1%, and therefore comprises the wealthiest and most influential.

    The late Joe Falls (died in 04) sent at least one of his kids to MSU for their undergrad degree.

    Did the person who did the booking live in a world void of college sports news for the last 25 years and think all the Freep's resident Ferengi did was write nice stories about dying professors and people in heaven?
