NBA Playoffs Thread

Bulls won, but it looks like Rose may miss sometime, and LeBron is looking like the MVP with his 32 points on 11-14 shooting and 4 steals in three quarters. Also, downvote me NBA haters.

Bump - Defending champs are toast. They fought like hell in the two losses in OKC but just got smoked at home in game 3.

I don't follow the Mavs (Thunder fan here) but they are the oldest team in the NBA by a mile. I suspect they need to turn over several players to get some youth on board.

Wow, i would have guessed the Spurs or Lakers. Makes sense though as i can't really name a player that they've drafted since Dirk. Seems like majority of their roster is from trades/fa.
Also, the Thunder are one of those most exciting teams i can remember watching. Being a Suns fan, the run 'n gun days of Nash-Stoudemire-Marion was close, and obviously Sir Charles/Majerle/KJ was exciting, although i was pretty young then. Hope to see you guys make a run into June.

He possibly could have stayed but after he put Howard on blast on national TV there's really no way both can stay now.

The 4th quarter of Celtics-Hawks was very exciting last night. I'm a full-time Celtic hater, so hoping for a comeback.
I hate that all the games I actually do want to see take place out West when I'm going to bed like the big baby that I am. I may have to keep my tired old self up for Lakers-Thunder and Clippers-Spurs, though.

Rose went out and the Bulls got real ordinary. Noah went out and the Bulls were a step above the Pistons.
Now a very ordinary 76'ers team beats the Bulls. The league is still about stars and once Rose was out the Bulls were pot roast

Ha and it still took everything sixers had, including homefield advantage, to beat a bulls team without it's top 2 players, and it's 3rd best playing with twisted ankle, starting a 5'10 PG and an overrated, overpaid loser (boozer). And sixers barely won by one.I would be surprised if Boston doesn't sweep them

And in talking about when things started to fall apart for the bulls. The first game, they creamed PHI before rose went out. 2nd game was the epic collapse...and 3 of the last 4, when Philly started thinking they had a chance, was back in their homestate...

Its a star league and without Rose they were done. Next year with a nice draft and a healthy Rose they can be contenders.
