Yes. Agreed. I too enjoyed the article and, as a transplanted Knick fan in Chicago, I will be watching a rooting on Lin-sanity.

"Michigan had come back from a 37-26 deficit to tie it by scoring the next 11 points. Coleman made it 37-37 with a 3-pointer after he got an offensive rebound.
Another 11-point run, this time by Harvard, decided the game starting with Magnarelli's layup.
Point guard Drew Housman, who kept the Crimson poised through their tough stretches, followed with a spinning layup in traffic and Evan Harris made a free throw. Housman hit two more free throws before Magnarelli and Jeremy Lin finished the scoring with layups."

as a knicks fan.. so happy this guy is providing something fun to watch. The team has been god awful this year. yes its two games.. but the last time I ever heard an mvp chant for a knicks player at the garden was a longggg time ago

Ummm, 3rd quarter versus Wizards, I FINALLY got a chance to watch this guy. My first glimpse of him, he just dusted John Wall on a crossover and took it to the rim with a tomahawk.
It's like plugging in some kind've imaginary 99pt player in NBA Live 97. He's played 3 games and he's leading huddles in timeouts. Unreal.

I remember some poster started a thread with a pic of Lin vs. some UM player laughing with the undertone: "look at this UM guy getting owned by an Asian kid from Harvard" not knowing that this kid could ball. I was glad to see that other posters dispute the thread. I'm pulling for the guy. He's scrappy and plays with intensity; both are missing in the NBA game.

I'm amazed everytime I watch an NBA game at how bad the defense is. If a player shows even mild interest in defending they are labeled as a lockdown defender. Oh and how is Steve Blake still in the league?

That's a pretty hyperbolic statement. Defense in basketball is a pretty ridiculously difficult thing when you factor in everything that a defender has to be thinking about all at once.
And the lakers literally have nobody else to play point for them besides Derek Fisher's corpse.

I'm tuning in to my first NBA game in years to see this guy.
- No scholarship offers coming out of high school. Undrafted out of college.
- He is the first player since LeBron James in 2003 to get 20+ points and 8+ Assists in his first 2 NBA starts.
- Harvard grads are more likely to become President of the United States than to make an NBA roster.
This is a cool story bro.
