I'm guessing the why is because the bride and groom attended UM. It's not that hard. People have Sparty show up to their wedding reception. Not much different.

But fuck UM at any rate.

Sparty showing up and dancing with the crowd is cool. The couple bringing in this band dork to intro them is the height of SCum dorkiness. Fucking losers.

They couldn't get into nyu so they go to Michigan. It wasn't about the bride it was about some band nerd. Classy.

I'd expect something like this from the Walverine crowd not actual Michigan alums. Kind of sad.

Because I get tired of hearing about how UM alums are so much better than everyone else on God's green earth. I like examples that show they sometimes have a complete lack of taste and good breeding despite what they think of themselves.

I mean the waiters are walking around in white coats! We're talking swanky here. It just doesn't look appropriate to have the bride literally bouncing in.

If they wanted to be cool, they should have hired the entire football team to run in to the fightsong, in full uniform and all, and to each of them jump up and touch that banner that reads "Be a Doosh Bag Today!"
