I love Jim Jefferies' stuff but Louie is the king right now. His output over the past few years has been amazing. He's developed material on tour for a new hour long standup special and written/directed/produced a dozen+ episodes for TV each year. That type of time crunch and pressure made Chappell crack after 2 years. Louie is chugging into his 4th year of doing that shit.
I may be a little biased because I ran into the guy last summer at a Red Sox game in Boston. I didn't want to bother him because he was with his daughters but as they were leaving I shook his hand and told him that I was a big fan. I don't get star struck much but that was pretty awesome.
I picked up tickets to see him Nov 9th in Chicago. Can't wait.
