I have a black 59/50 with the state of michigan on it and a star on EL and the block S, I think its the best hat New Era made for MSU, even old people compliment it...and it has a flat bill (that i've had to doctor a bit)
cant find a pic of it, but its like the Angels one, but a Block green S next to the star on EL, spartan head on the back

1000x this. I used to love the "MICHIGAN STATE" hoodies that used to wear. The first sweatshirt after the rebranding was sweet (dark green, white trim, "Michigan State" on the chest, sharp), but I crapped the bed and didn't buy it. The "Spartans" gear is ok, but I completely agree with you - I want to show my pride that I am a graduate of MSU and proud to be from Michigan. I would pay top dollar for a "Michigan State" sweatshirt. Until then, I guess I'll just stick with my 09 sideline sweatshirt, which is fading fast.

Is it possible to have clean, modern, forward thinking designs to purchase? I asked this a week ago, I'll ask again. Where can I get this zip up?

It seems like every time they come up with a concept that's sort of cool, they almost immediately ask themselves: "How can we make this t-shirt look like it was made in 1991?" I'm sick of the blown up font and the "clutter" on all of the Nike t-shirts. A few years ago, when I was still in college, 90% of my wardrobe was MSU gear. That number has shrunk to maybe 5%. It's not because I'm not proud of my school, it's just because Nike's merchandise blows.
And as far as that pull over goes, I think I saw it at one of the bookstores in EL.
