OT: Bands who have never written a bad song

There are certain bands who just don't seem to have a bad song in their repertoire. Three Dog Night immediately jumps to mind for me. Who else?

The list of great song writers begins and ends with the Beatles.
Honorable mention to Van Morrison.
Everybody else just got lucky once or twice.

Foo Fighters. Seems like every song I've heard from them is likable. Some of it sounds similar to one another but different enough to like still. Saw them live and felt like they were going through their hit list for a full 2 hours of the set. I don't own all their cds so I don't know. Just seems like everything dave groll touches turns to gold.

The Beatles were great songwriters, but I didn't ask for people who only write great songs. I asked for bands who have never written a bad song.

There are two groups that are played regularly that make me immediately change the radio station if I happen to be listening. They are: The Red Hot Chili Peppers(the last 10 years or so) and The Foo Fighters. I can't stomach either of them. I feel like I gave Grohl a fair shot because as a teenager I worshipped at the altar of Nirvana and I wanted to like The Foo Fighters after Cobain ate the muzzle. I just can't do it. Totally generic rock music.

Three Dog Night rarely wrote their own songs, so I guess you could say they have never written a bad song. But they had a lot of bad songs that were written by others.
The Replacements never had a bad song.

None. Not possible. If you believe this about any band you are a tool, and if you met the band they would think you are a tool as well. Although most won't go out and say it, most bands have created songs that they don't even like.

That's the thing jools, it IS generic rock music, Dave groll is a freaking ROCK star. The other bands that fall in this "generic" rock music genre these days goes as follows: Creed, Hinder, nickelback. Catch my drift? They are ALL terrible and the foo fighters are the only ones to keep it interesting despite being almost 20 years old now...

All quality bands make bad songs occasionally. Bad songs are almost always the product of taking risks.

IMO, Brown Eyed Girl is a terrible song. But, that's just me.
I think the RHCP have had a fantastic career, but I think One Hot Minute sucks outside of Aeroplane.
I would say many have gotten lucky more than once or twice.

None. They've all written a bad song or two. It's all opinion too. Someone is going to come on here and say "Everything by the Grateful Dead is gold, Jerry." to which I'll reply "Wrong. They are all bad songs." and then what'll happen? Nothing good, I'm afraid.
