I don't think the posters should have to bow and scrape to the mods to get their questions answered . . . but I also don't think the mods have to do whatever any individual poster says every single time they say it.

I'm really all about middle-ground/balance. There's usually a happy medium that can be reached, in my opinion, on most issues.

In absolute terms, the mods can do whatever they want and don't have to listen to anything a poster says. Personally that's a pretty arrogant way to look at things and isn't in the spirit of judicial use of power. On the flip side, the posters are the ones that keep this place successful, and without them there would be nothing . . . but I think it's an abuse of that "influence" to throw around the "without us, there wouldn't be a board"-card anytime someone disagrees with the way the board is being modded.

To me, I'll put it like this: If you have a problem with the way something's being modded and want to talk about it, I'll listen all day and try and find some way to resolve it. If you come out swinging, expect me to ignore you, or if it keeps up, ban you.

Does that work for everyone?

tBB wants nothing to do with tRCMB heading over there. They are very heavy handed and Noah is most likely the one handing out bans left and right. If you stick to just the MSU/UM thread you are ok, but other than that, they hate the fact that we leave this board. However if you start a scum schtick and talk about how awesome recruiting is, you could probably get anyone you wanted banned over there with a PM to Noah.

Nope, just returning the favor that Brodson gave me by not starting the cock'n'balls thread. He complained about the "premium poster" ridiculously stupid/no one GAF about them threads, so I locked a couple.
