If it was real I can only imagine the stern talking to Rose received afterwards from whoever is in charge.

That horseshit "documentary" was one of ESPN's highest rated shows, ever. Rose could kill somebody and keep his job.

One liar calling out another liar. This is like like Blago calling out George Ryan for being corrupt.

Can you imagine this kind of childish exchange taking place between say:

Dr. J and Bob Costas??

Greg Kelser and George Blaha??

Al Kaline and Ernie Harwell??

Answer: No. Too much class. Rose is as slimy as they come. As much as I dislike Bayless, I feel sorry for him. It's as if he's been bullied by the big jock in HS.

He's necessary for the ESPN sit-down and debate shows. Most professionals, especially ex-players, tend to agree on everything and it's not nearly as appealing to the audience that way. Even though he makes himself look like an idiot most of the time, he's doing what he's supposed to do by causing controversy and taking some off-the-wall side of an argument. Jailin and SAS do the same thing except they're serious and arrogant about the fact that they're idiots. HUGE and many other radio hosts try the same thing and are not as successful.
