Nucky, if you are too stupid to realize, you check the crime rates wherever you go. I failed to do that when I moved to Austin, didn't make the same mistake again when moving to DFW.

In my experience crime rates are directly proportionate to the cost of housing. No need to check a map

Property crime rates tend to be a tad higher then violent crimes in cases like that. My neighborhood hasn't had a reported crime in the last 6 months, compared to a half mile up where crimes happen daily.
