    My personal dream is to see Alabama beat Michigan 74-0, and just as the seconds run out on the clock a giant asteroid hits. I have similar hopes for the UofM Notre Dame match.

    Now with a PhD in Applied Llama Physics...

    .........what I'll be looking for is the same FEAR he exhibited the last 2 seasons against our defense. I thought Forcier played with more courage against us than he did. The kid has been a soft front runner IMO. Now word is he's "bulked up" to 200 lbs and is fearless......we shall see. He also looked real timid vs. VaTech: bottom line: bama's D' is better than Va Tech...so we'll see right out of the gate if this kid's balls have finally dropped.

  • What the experts aren't taking into account is Nick Saban's hate for Michigan. His team will be up for this game and he will not lose to Michigan and if he has a chance to run up the score he'll do that too.

    stole my question bryan: I keep hearing this but, in reality: where's the concrete proof? I DO remember him saying MSU basically couldn't compete with SCum....and Coach D' has proven him wrong......granted, he was on some Perles staffs that had contentious ties with Bo...but where's the proof he "hates" SCum? (playing devils' advocate: hope it's true)

    I was at a basketbal game at MSU, some sort of charity/all star game right after they named him HC. They introduced Saban, and he made a short speech. He ended with this. "We are going to kick michigan's ass".

    That may be proof, or maybe he was just playing to the crowd.

    Better question might be how CAN'T you hate them. They talk like they are...Alabama. With a whopping .5 title since leather helmets. I would want to crush them too.

    Saying Bama's D is better than Va Tech's is like saying Kate Upton is hotter than Zooey Deschanel. They're both quality, but one is on such a different level of hottness that it isn't really fair to compare the two.

    When he was at MSU, he had to put up with a LOT of under the table crap from the AA folks. He realized that there was nothing he could do about it because he couldn't get any support from the president (who didn't think sports was that important). He also despised the scUM coaches, their arrogance and how they negative recruited.

    Also, during the MSU vs scUM week, Saban always wears something green at his Monday Bama presser. He knows how important that game is for MSU.

    I expect that when Bama is up by three Td's and just crushing scUM, he'll still be going for more.

    A few big hits from 260 lb linebackers can quickly bring back his tendency to be gun shy. Hopefully we can give him a proper pounding that he still won't be recovered from on October 20.
