Official FEED the IZZONE thread..

  • Where do I sign or what can I do to help? I wanna help feed the frenzy, but not sure where to start. Any tidbits of info or suggestions, I think, ought to be posted here and if you want to help out with donations, phone calls..whatever!

    Please post up how you'd like food delivered, or good info that can help this go smoothly and in a timely manner. There are a lot of us out-of-staters that want to help and want to be a part of another epic beatdown.

    Is it "legal" to simply put money into an account of an Izzone leader or member who can organize donations? Paypal account? The possibilities are endless. Is there such a thing as an Izzon slush fund? This could actaully be a very very nice tradition..

  • I'm on the phone with Jimmy Johns as we speak..where should I tell them to deliver? They won't take donations but one can buy with a C card and have them delivered..what time and what location is best to tell them??

    I'll send pizza's and maybe have instructions on what type of student to be looking for, or which not to deliver to. Examples: Don't deliver to anyone in a costume.
    I'd want to try to pick on someone who might not usually get something for free.

    Or maybe I'll just random it and say go to the 33rd person in line and hand them 5 pizza's please.

  • I'd think it will be smart to mark down the times a delivery has been arranged..and the approximate location of the line for said delivery.

    Is there simply ONE line and that is it? Seems like multiple gates were talked about last Tuesday, but shrug

  • If anyone is going to do a larg(er) donation I would be willign to chip in a bit. Can do Pay Pal, or I might just get some pizzas sent to them. Of Course I could just head over to Little Caesers and get some Hot and Ready's and drop them off myself.

    However if there is an organized food buy, let us know. I would like to Donate. I would also be up for the Spiked Gatorade buy as well.

    We think it would be cool to donate a dozen or so pizza's so we will make that happen tomorrow. We are also going to hire some entertainment as well. We got an individual to play violin (he traveled with a symphony in Europe for a few years, very good) before the game. Nothing to do with anything really but, hell, why not, we know a guy so....

    Spiked gatorade! Score a 5 gallon cooler from Home Depot, a big can of the mix....and a few gallons of gin. Screw vodka, gin gets people fighting mad.

    PS Or Snake could drop of a few gallons of Dawson strength Excellenceaid?
