Some of it started with Izzo. He should have put Kearney on Burke earlier in the game. That is the reason we were able to come back from 11 down. Kearney's defense on Burke. Also Wood and Thornton had open shots at the end of the game and passed them up. Green also never came to the ball. Defending Appling with scUM's whole team was too easy. Also Appling being on the bench in foul trouble led to Hardaway getting an easy layup late in the game. Wood's defense was bad all night.

This. The gap will close once i look at both rosters and say I want UMs players over UM and they win a B10 title or go to a final four.

This has happened in football. No one would trade UMs roster for MSUs and we won a monster bowl game and a B10 title.
