We've got to be the most resilient fans in the world. Nobody has seen more mind blowing losses than us.
Anyone who even calls themselves a fan of this combination has serious balls (and probably serious masochistic tendencies).

I have nothing left for the Lions. I still root for them above all other NFL teams, but I just can't get caught up in them anymore win or lose. Too many years, and these guys are still making good coin (even in defeat).
I will never have the same feeling for MSU though, thick and thin, I'll be there..

Misery loves company! Welcome to the club good buddy. Someday the tribe will bring home a series. The browns will bring home a Super Bowl and the Spartans a crystal ball. You'll see. You'll all see!!!
Please note that I did not specify a timeline as I expect to be long since dead and buried before my Tribe bring home a title.
Spartans, Indians, Browns. I think I just enjoy being miserable...

I'm really only old enough to have experienced 8 years of football fully. The Lions have always sucked until last year, but I have been spoiled by a lot of MD.

I'm a Columbus native, so a Bluejackets fan, who is also an Indians, Cavaliers and Browns fan due to the fact that my entire family has been in the Cleveland area for 3+generations, and i was born there. Pretty rough, but wouldn't have it any other way.

It's pro football...how much of a fan can you really be of a professional team? Especially, if you're a college graduate of a school that has a big time program like Michigan State does.

The cold reality of spartan football's return to mediocrity has set in with the fanbase. Apathy is the new norm. There's always next year! Msu will be going on 26 years since a rose bowl appearance. The young guns on Here will eventually turn cynical like the old codgers they ridicule for swearing and booing at spartan stadium after yet ANOTHER year of hope fades into 27 years since a rose bowl. Like I said before it was a nice two year run. The apologists can spin this all they want. Msu football has regressed back to where it was. Those good gets however will change the culture.
