Is this the deleted thread you are referring to? They most have re-posted it then. Read the thread again because your memory is fuzzy. I didn't almost tell anything. A buddy of mine did. The neg votes on that thread are because I did not include pics, not because I was trying to bring up old shit that happened ten years ago.

Making more at the new gig, bud. Continue to try and impress your buddy by ruining some girls' life. That thread was hilarious how you thought everyone was going to think it was funny and it just turns out you're a whiny little pussy.

You two babies grown the fuck up and get out of this thread.

Their biggest obstacle will be their new football center is only in drawings and architects models. They have a $10M grant based on their ability to raise another $10M of which they have $2M committed. Fund raising with Petrino having another 10+ win season would have been easier.

Without an updated facility they are at a prohibitive disadvantage compared to LSU, 'Bama, Tennessee, Florida and even Texas A&M. Oddly A&M joining the SEC will probably benefit Arkansas recruiting in the SE corner of Texas. They will have to overpay a name coach to go there as long as every mention of facilities begins with "Future".

If Briles is their guy, the conversation goes like this...

    Hi, Is this Art?

Mr. Long, I am packed and on my way!!

Texas blew this year and Oklahoma couldn't stop anyone and Baylor with one of their best teams ever still couldn't win the league. If Briles is the guy, then the phone conversation doesn't get past Hello.

  • They better hire someone pretty soon. This is the worst time to hire a head coach.

I have a feeling they are screwed either way.

  • They want Malzahn. Malzahn has strong ties to Auburn and that might not go over well.

This will probably be the hire, but only after two or three other people say no. I imagine Gary Patterson, Paul Rhoads and possibly Skip Holtz will all get a call. Patterson is probably not budging... If I were Arkansas' AD my list would be 1) Rhoads 2) Patterson 3) Skip Holtz

The only job Petersen would probably take is Oregon. He's comfortable in Boise and they can go to the BCS every three years.
