I'm sure he wasn't out there slinging it around or lifting any weights until they said his neck was good to go...I guess he has almost 2 months to get into shape before the Colts make a move. Now he can try to go full speed at least.

He's a FOOL if he plays anywhere. I had a (successful) spinal fusion a few years ago, but the doctor warned me about doing things that could be problematic. Roller coasters are out. Horseback riding is out. Most anything that could put any undue stress on the discs (like getting hit by a 250 lb. linebacker) is DEFINITELY out. I have a titanium plate bolted to 3 vertebrae. Since they are fused and don't 'move' as they once did. the ones above and below now assume the motion.
I realize the guy loves football, but...
