filet and cab
sharp cheddar cheese nachos and coca-cola
blueberry pancakes and skim milk
Oh and beer most definitely pairs well with pizza. Try a Peroni.

When you have a mouthful of pizza, you wash it down with beer?
Nothing washes pizza down better than soda.
I'll take a break from eating for a moment to take a sip of beer, but it just does not taste as good as soda for washing food down.

Beer doesn't go well with pizza. I agree with others that shared this opinion. Frankly, I prefer soda-pop (root-beer or Coke) or a glass of red wine with pizza.
Upvotes from me to you for those that said steak and bourbon (someone said whiskey, which counts.) I was going to suggest this as my food beverage pairing.
I'll offer smoked meat and bourbon as an alternative to steak.

I like beer with snacks but not actual meals. It doesn't quench my thirst. Coke & pizza is a match made in heaven.
