Please upgrade Delmon Young to "A Hate Crime"

This kid is in trouble.... Sounds like the victim was Jewish or at least DY said a few things to him. You don't mes around with hate crimes, a total new level of trouble vs. just hitting someone. Especially in NYC

I'm sure when it all comes out that the other guy dropped a fe wn bombs on Delmon and Delmon being intoxicated came back with some j-bombs,..... Maybe Delmon was louder so people hear him... He took the bait from the troll and pushed him.

He'll pay a fine, maybe do some community service, and that will be it. No big deal. I don't really care what so ever.
I care far more about the fact that he hasn't played well this year and needs to ramp up his production. He's in serious danger of losing his job to Andy Dirks.

I don't know, its not like they just show up at 7:00 and play the game. Usually there is batting practice before the first game of a series, trainer meetings, other meetings, media sessions, team requests, other team functions, etc... If most players aren't "at work" by noon-1 oclock, id be surprised....that doesn't mean at the stadium necissarily, but representing the Tigers or themselves professionally in some capacity.
