Please extend a nice Spartan welcome to Husker fans wearing the red Team Jack t-shirts. Jack Hoffman is a 7 year old boy battling brain cancer and 100% of the net proceeds from the t-shirt sales goes toward pediatric brain cancer research. Cancer is the leading disease killer of children - more than the next five diseases (asthma, diabetes, AIDS, cystic fibrosis, and congenital defects) combined. Nebraska running back, Rex Burkhead, and his teammates wear a red bracelet that reads Team Jack Pray. The MSU football team wears a purple Play for Paige bracelet in support of Paige Duren, a 12 year old Okemos girl and a yellow bracelet that says Team Jaxon in support of Jaxon Davis a 5 year old both of whom are brain cancer warriors. Curesearch.org is a leading research organization if you feel so inclined to help.
Please enjoy the attached video links for Paige and Jack.
A profile on Jack Hoffman, a young 7-year old boy from Atkinson, Neb., who is fighting brain cancer and who has built a special friendship with Nebraska running back Rex Burkhead.
Thank you so much for telling Spartan fans about Jack, this kid is a typical Nebraska kid.
The story of Jack and Rex makes every Husker fan cry no matter how many times we see it and watch it.
"In the deed, the glory"
Our prayers go out to all afflicted children. Those of us who have followed Paige's courageous fight will always welcome others to the Spartan family.

Kind of hard to root against Burkhead. . . he seems like a very classy guy. Reminds me a lot of KC. . . good luck Jack and family. . . you're in our prayers.
Awesome story... thanks for sharing!
Nice story, thanks for posting and good luck to Jack and the Husker family.
If I see a team Jack shirt, they get a beer.
Someone please take and post a picture of Spartans welcoming team Jack. Thanks.
