Kids today just don't understand the value of a good HS beater now a days.

We used to brag about who had the shittiest car...my '86 Buick Skyhawk was always in the discussion. Back then if you got out of the parking lot at school without denting something you were having a good day... It really was a free for all.

Plus, there no better way to learn about really taking care of a car until you dive in and take something apart you have no business taking apart...just to see what's inside. That's the beauty of a beater.

Agreed. I do believe that the OP would have gotten his ass kicked in my younger days, just for having windshield wipers on his headlights.

I had two of the shittiest cars ever growing up. A renault alliance that I ran into the ground, and a Legacy outback wagon that I had to hold up a bucket when it rained because water would seep into the drivers side. They were bad ass rides.

Its late at night so i dont expect people to go out and take pics of their rides like i just did. So if you have one saved on your web hosting site post it ITT. Please spare me the ridiculous pics you took from google. This is to see whos ballin and whos not. For a teenager im ballin my first whip is probably nicer than youra, except for you fucks that have mommy and daddy buy you everything.

Its a thunderstorm here right now so i couldnt take good pics, ill do that later. But its an 850 turbo with a sun roof, spoiler, black leather interior. I pick up the bitches in this thing ya heard? Lol.

Lets see your whips rcmb. Real image hosting site pics only. Lets see whos man enough to post there rides like ghost and I. Sweet rubicon brah. Below is a pic of three of my friends jeeps i was thinking of getting one. Peep the rolls royce in the background.

WTF is going on in here? Sweet volvo lol

At my school the king of the shit-mobile's was the Dodge Omni...or the like. People got out of your way if you drove one of those...mainly because drivers of the Dodge Omni didn't give a f$&@ what they hit or ran into during the daily mass HS parking lot exodus.

Though I have to say, the Skyhawk wasn't bad...until some boner acquired a beat up Caddy Cimeron...

absolutely...i graduated in 88 and our lot was filled to the brim w/ cars from the 70s and early 80s (I was pimpin an 82 Mercury Lynx wagon - aqua blue - myself). It was a boat yard! but the dudes with the rusted out 73 Chevelles were the chick magnets for sure. My brother had a 72 chevelle that was beat to shit, no heater, no seat belts, a total death trap. but it cost $250 and was awesome.

and of course, a wide assortment of Pintos, Gremlins, and Pacers - and a bunch of "citations" if anyone remembers those pieces of crap.

I graduated 9 years later...(1997) so the "boats" were still around, but becoming rare. We had early-mid 80's post gas embargo POS...K Cars, Cavalier-like, Buick Centrury, like...a few Ford Probes/Dodge Daytona were about a sporty as one go..outside the rare mid 80's 6 cylinder Firebird. The Boats that sailed our seas were usually Buick Regals/Chevy Monte Carlos/Olds Cutless etc...

If you drove anything foreign, forget about it...

Oddly enough the Skyhawk I drove was my dads "going to work car" when he bought it in 86 . He gave it to my brother and I whe we got out D/L's in the early 90's. He replaced it with an Olds Cutless Supreme (which I drove at MSU). The car he replaced with the Skyhawk was a Chevy Citation...my dad hated that car. Despite working for GM and always owning Chevy's up to that point, he didn't buy another Chevy until last year when he bought an Equinox because of that car.

Absolutely shitting on fools. Hilarious though today these little 19 year old punks were talkin smack to these older dudes about 40 somethin. Both of African American descent. But I love playing with these guys because the games are like camping, really in tents. Anyways my boy Kleon was being called a Bitch ass Ni&&@ by these old fool. Who was like yoyour lucky we ain't in the park right now. This old dude had game tho he looks like a 40 year old Christian Watford. The fight got so intense that my homeboy Malik who works at the Ymca came out and lowered the hoop so we couldn't play. We took our talents to the other side of the gym (theres two courts side by side) And the same stuff continued till The Y executives had to end this dispute. Rematch tomorrow I'll post updates while I get a water break for those interested.
