Question about MSU Baseball...

If we're on the bubble, how is it that we're being projected by some as a 3 or a 4 seed? Is it that there are so many sites, or is it that there are a lot of small conferences eating up bids?

It's because each regional only has 4 teams

Correct. 16 -four team, double elimination, regionals (on campus sites).
Followed by 8, two team, best of 3 "Super" regionals (on campus sites).
Followed by an 8 team, double elimination, College World Series
