Hogan's Heroes may be the most underrated television series of all time, Dawson was great along with the rest of the cast.

Richard Dawson always seemed very cool... Hogans Heros was one of my favorite shows when I was a kid. He was great on Match Game.
And he absoutely hated Bob Crane. When told of Crane's murder, his first response to the reporter was "well it's just another case of giving the people what they want".....

Him or Betty White....That show was a blast, drunk and/or high celebs not giving a shit. What a fucking party that show was, too bad cell phones with cameras weren't around at the time because those after parties must have been epic as hell.

I remember when they first added the Star Wheel to determine whose answer they'd have to match in the final question. The first time it was spun, it landed on Richard's name. The other panelists walked off the set in mock disgust.
