If Sullinger leaves, I don't see OSU winning the league, they have no recruits coming in and they'd be losing him and Buford and who knows about Thomas

I could see MSU and Indiana sharing the title

  • I want to see the schedule first. We are due a fleabag schedule like UM had. We've gotten dicked on that way too many times.

Not going to Madison allowed scUM a share.

Yeah, I originally had us ahead at #1, but I think we all underestimate the loss of Green.

I think Indiana will be the favorite. I think we finish top 3. After that no idea.

We've been due a fleabag schedule for about 10 years. Don't hold your breath.

Only from a leadership standpoint. I fully expect the freshmen to make the typical sophomore "jump" while the upperclassmen continue to improve. Of course there is this year's recruiting class as well- especially Harris.

The RCMB...is one of the most awful, alarming, inappropriate, disgusting, and offensive msg boards in the history of the internet.

  • For the moment, I see it as:

    1. Indiana
    2. Michigan State
    3. Ohio State
    4. Minnesota
    5t. Wisconsin
    5t. Michigan
    7. Illinois
    8. Northwestern
    9. Purdue
    10. Iowa
    11. Nebraska
    12. Penn State

OSU loses Buford and Sullinger so write them out of the top 3. UM 7th? I don't think so. MSU 2nd is solid although leadership will be a problem early on.

  • Without Burke, Novak, Smowtasbchz, and that other annoying senior, i think UM at 7 is pretty reasonable. They're counting on a freshman (giggle), Morgan (lol), and Hardaway (ROFL)? It's a guess who's going and leaving, but i've got it as:

    1. Ohio St. (plenty on that bench even if Thomas goes)
    2. Indiana (still have to learn to play defense, but best offensive team in the B10 in several years)
    3. MSU
    4. Minnesota
    5. Michigan
    6. Wisconsin
    7. Iowa
    8. Purdue
    9. Illinois
    10. Northwestern
    11. Penn St.
    12 Nebraska

Some real dogfights between #5 and #10. All those teams will be pretty even. I put Michigan at 5 on the hedge bet that Burke might stay. With him they're 3, without him they're 7.

  • In response to Wisconsin's point guard situation, George Marshall, a redshirt freshman, has the inside track. Gasser can play point, and Traevon Jackson (Jimmy Jackson's kid) will vie for playing time. Marshall has had a very productive year from a red shirt standpoint, so there are high hopes for him right now.

Indiana and MSU...could be a 1 loss year for both in the B1G - each 1 loss coming to the other.

Don't agree with OSU, especially if Thomas goes, they'd lose him, Sullinger and Buford and they have no recruits coming in. They'd have Craft, Smith,Scott,Ravenel, and Williams with no one on the bench

Most likely our one-plays will be the same, just in the other teams buildings. Next year should be the 2nd of the the two year cycle.

MSU should play Ill, Northwestern, @Iowa and @PSU and everyone else twice.

  • If Ohio St. finishes as low as 6th i'll retire from betting and analyzing. Ain't gonna happen. A lineup of Craft, Scott, Smith, Thompson, and Ravanel with Williams off the bench is the 2nd best lineup in the conference. That's not even taking into account their freshman class or the possibility of Thomas staying another year. I suppose if Smith's stock is so high that HE also goes early, they could slip down to 3rd or 4th at worst.
