and I don't really care for any other sports league...
I watch other stuff sometimes (MLB/NHL/NBA playoffs and European soccer) just for fun, but it's rare for me to have a rooting interest in those leagues.

I confess that other than the NFL, my interest in the other sports is directly proportional to how well the Detroit teams are doing. I follow the Tigers/Pistons/Wings every year and root for them, but I don't follow the sport as a whole unless the DET teams are in the play-off race.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

Not really. Just watch the highlights the next day to see what you missed out on. I find it incredibly annoying that they have to play music or sounds or whatever you want to call it during the actual game. The Finals can be good at times though.

Maybe it's because there is no local team and I grew up on college basketball but it's almost a different game than college. More 1 on 1. 24 second shot clock has something to do with it. Plus they are so good it looks like they aren't trying. I don't flat out refuse to watch it but it's a last resort. JMO.

its not basketball. there is no defense. the Pistons teams from early 2000's were so fun to watch because they played defense
