Marcus Rush rated higher than Will. Not knocking Rush at all, but I can't imagine many MSU fans without the last name Rush feel that Marcus is a better player than Gholston.

I recall the same stuff happened last yr, and the rosters were adjusted by the time the game actually came out.

I haven't played the game for a few years, but I remember when I did I sometimes used other teams that I knew were good just because it's fun to try something new and check out a different squad.

It's not a huge deal that they screwed up the rosters, but there is going to be some fan of a random school out there who wants to use a better team.

They will think, 'The Spartans have some sick jerseys' I think I will try them. Scrolls to MSU, 'Oh wait, they're not as good as I thought' and then they move on to some other team.

It's not super damaging but at the same time I'm pissed that our roster doesn't match the brand recognition that has been built the last 5 years.

It's mostly an issue for that that play the game online against random opponents around the country. When doing this, you have to play with the stock rosters the game came with. In the Online Dynasty mode, you can play with modified roster (The dynasty members all play with the same roster), but not in random online games. It's a major issue for people who grow tired of playing against the computer all the time.

That being said, I remember there being issues last year when the initial rosters leaked. Many of them were changed in the first update to the game (which was available on release day) and the opening day roster was much better than the original roster.

No, the only reason I buy the new one every year is for the rosters... which they fail at year after year.

And yes, I'm still upset we didn't have new jerseys in 11 despite ours being out for like 5 months before the game was released, I'm still upset they couldn't get our green right last year, and I'm still upset we were 2 full jersey sets behind in NCAA Basketball 10 despite the fact we played in the NCAA CG the year before. That's unacceptable when the whole lure to the game is to imitate the real teams.

Exactly. I probably won't be buying it this year.

They have got to understand that while bending over backwards for some fanbases (UM, Texas, etc...) they are burning bridges with dozens of others and while my $60 won't break their budget it's the little bit that I can do. F them.

$59.99. Its not like it will break the bank. The one game I buy each year.

EA hasn't produced a decent basketball game since around 2005, if not before.
