Give Matt credit. He isn't just singling out one player like he did with Brian hoyer (which ultimately led to Hoyer's dad delivering a beatdown on Matt) but he's saying all the players are second rate now. He's really taking a step up on the douchebag scale. Bravo matty!

How did we end up with this massive chasm between how the offense & defense operate ?

Seems like those two are in different universes when it comes to how players are developed & how gametime is earned.

Everything I'm hearing is; it's not likely that Le'Veon Bell will return for his Sr. season.

If Roushar is back there is no reason for Le'Veon to be back as well.

People forget that even before tattoos wrecked his career, Jim Tressel was booed at the Shoe, and was always criticized for being conservative, stodgy and behind the times. But all he did field championship teams, and cast UM into a dark hole from which they may never return.

I agree with the need for improved schemes and play calls. But we all Really underestimated the total overhaul we had on offense (new QB, WRs) and losing three starting Olinemen. But consistency usually prevails, and staying with a philosophy rather than knee jerk changes is a better approach.

I think Roushar should be relieved of OC duties, but MD overall knows what he wants and he's more often than not, gotten it.

Maxwell will start next year, maybe be pushed by O'Connor, and OLine will, hopefully, not suffer the same rash of injuries. WRs have clearly improved and could be a strength next year. But we do need much better game planning and upgraded plays.
