Can someone explain why we would ever schedule UNC to a 4 year contract? Anyone but them

I get the impression that even if we lose the games, it's a plus for the program as far as exposure. Izzo and Hollis must see it that way. Obviously a win is huge.

Bruggman wanted to commit? Wow! I was really Impress with his highlight film.

I am glad to see an update on Elijah Daniel. I don't want to downplay the importance of the commitments up to this point, but I think Elijah Daniel would be the most important pickup of the class if we're able to get him (along with two quality tackles). DE appears to be huge position of need after we were unable to get one in the 2012 class (unless Lyles is moved to DE). I know we're in on several DEs, but Natter is now off the board and it sounds as if Alec James is leaning towards Wisconsin. For those who haven't watched Daniel's film, check it out. This guy looks like a superb athlete coming off the end and looks like he's in a different tier than the rest of the DEs we're going after at this point. Would love to get him.

One other DE comment: Check out Ruben Dunbar's film, too, if you haven't already. This guy appears to be significantly underrated at this point (which our staff, of course, is already aware of). I also read he's put on 20 lbs since last season. Just my opinion, but the kid looks like a stud. (Plus, he looks just like Branden Dawson in his profile pic on 247...that's gotta be a good thing, right?)

This would be really appealing for a SF, projected #1 prospect that wants to play on the biggest stage and close to home.

If you want to be a Big Dog, then play and once in awhile beat a Big Dog! Now we just have to work on the "beat" part of that proverb! I think that we are 3-12 against UNC.
