    Heath will be at DE, but I think Knox is going to be at DT.

    Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

    Me too. It was a shame what happened injury wise to that kid and the lack of attention he was getting really had me thinking we would get him. Was pretty bumbed when he commited to Arkansas. Even my brothers (um fans) thought we uncovered a gem with that kid and he was crazy athletic. That being said, I love Jagne too. I was up till 2am thinking about the Pittman decommit and woke up saying fuck it. When I thought we'd take 2 DE's I wanted Winston, Jagne, or potentially Ryan Watson. Still in it for 2 of the 3.

  • It sounds like we were pittman's 3rd choice. He grew up a buckeye, but they were going through some shit. He then tried to commit to um, but they cooled on him due to grades and other stuff, so his ego was bruised, and he decided to commit to MSU even though he wasn't sold 100% on being a Spartan. If he would have stayed with MSU, he would have only done it because of wanting to uphold his integrity and commitment. Not because he actually wanted to become a Spartan.

  • It's mid-December and the coaches are working their tails off to finish off an above-average class. The lack of a big-time safety and DT commit actually concerns me more than losing out on a DE.

    I'll say this for the nth time - it's time for MSU to step up to the big-boy table and hire Larry Johnson. He's sitting out there in the wind while Narduzzi is talking to other schools.

    If OSU hires Tim Brewster and PSU gets Al Golden or Dan Mullen, we're going to fall even further behind the top 4 B1G programs from a recruiting standpoint. All of you who don't think recruiting matters needs to check how many BCS games OSU, UM and PSU have played in since MSU last played in the Rose Bowl.
