I give Memphis props because it was a fucking great team no question about it, I honestly wasn't surprised we got ass whooped. But let's be realistic, you hired Cal and the guy was / is just dirty as they come. How many other coaches had so much vacated? Umass, Memphis and eventually Kentucky. Cal is not respected. He's also not a great coach. I've never seen a bigger choke job in the NC game before and I think the only memorable choke was Arizona / Illinois in 2005. Look, I really don't give a shit about Memphis - I don't like or dislike Memphis, but your university and athletic programs are not even in the same league as MSU. Memphis is a shitty commuter school, that's just the facts. Unless you're stupid, poor, or both, you're going to Tennessee or Vandy. Even your logos look shitty. That said, good luck. Not just in the NCAA, but in life.

Everybody knows the game happened. Just like we all know that MSU has won 3 of the last 4 B1G regular season championships, a conference tournament title, won 9 NCAA tournament games resulting in 2 Final Fours and a Runner-up trophy (that they didn't have to give back for cheating). This. I want to hear more about how slow and unathletic MSU is this year. Catch the Big Ten Tournament final Sunday afternoon, Mr. EZMMONEY? From what I can tell, Memphis hasn't played a team half as good as OSU this year. And if they did, they lost.

If you want to talk basketball, fine. If you want to come across as an ignorant douche, bragging up a team with approximately zero wins against top 25 competition this season, well that might be fun too.

Edit: Checked out Memphis' schedule (Admittedly didn't know much about them until today. Mostly because who gives a damn about Memphis since Cal left?). Louisville, Georgetown and Murray State are decent teams. Lost to all 3. Outside of that, it's actually remarkable they could find a way to lose any other games. But they did, to the likes of UCF and Utep.
