Correct. Trevor claims his old board kept getting hacked, etc. however with 247 came big $$$.
Keeping the sunshiners in check since 2000.

Trevor did what he needed to do to keep this place running. He clearly couldn't keep doing it by himself -- I mean the poor guy was working on the site while he was in the hospital at one point. Plus with family commitments coming up, it just wasn't going to be viable to keep things the way they were. It's not like this is his full-time job. So I understand that point of it.
247 doesn't put message board features that we want as high priority because it doesn't grow their business as much as recruiting stuff, so I also understand that part of it as much as I don't like it.
What's different is the content by posters because certain things aren't allowed to play themselves out any more. Posts mysteriously get deleted with no explanation often. Most of the moderators are doing a decent job, but there is one in particular who is very thin-skinned and tries to make tRCMB something it isn't by nature.

The best responses in any thread would incorporate one of two things:
1. an inline, full size gif, or
2. mulitquote, to smack down all the people you are debating at once
With development tools being what they are these days, I can't imagine these would be hard to get active. Drag and drop, object oriented "coding" makes it a breeze.

I can't imagine it makes financial sense to host a huge archive of posts/threads from the old board.
I miss the old board, but I can see why Trevor made the switch.
