Against UT, Valentine played about 5 minutes total because he was in foul trouble all day, yet Kearney only got 8 minutes. Turns out that was the wrong way to head off to Christmas break.
However, by the same token, I think that's a pretty good sign for us going forward. We only got 5 minutes out of Valentine ( tell me when that's going to happen again) and didn't really play Kearney, yet we managed pretty darn well.

Texas sucks
This hurts us from a depth stand point heading into the Big Ten, but I don't think it's an insurmountable loss by any means.
Very curious to see what, if anything Izzo does for the class of 2013 now.

Bingo, his family is pro-UM and he is even a self-proclaimed Michigan football fan. I guarantee some family members were telling him he is too great of a talent to only average 16 minutes/game for Michigan State when he can be "starring" for some lower level team
