Just watched Vincent Smith rip off the biggest run of the day for UM. Allen had him for a 3 yard rush and over-ran him; Allen came up the right through the A-gap, but over-ran Smith. If that had been a play-action pass, it would have been a sack.

Ballsy call to fake the FG; the K Gibbons threw the key block, props for that.

Michigan gets 80 yards in the first 6 min.

They gain 170 yards total in the remaining 54 minutes.

Announcers keep mentioning how good our defense was. Something like just the 3rd rushing TD the defense had given up. 1st in the last 9 quarters.

Rush D was outstanding last year. Allowed just 100.5 YPG, 2.8 YPC, 11 rushing TDs allowed in 14 games. Consider they faced O's like Nebraska, UM and Wisconsin, all of whom averaged over 200 YPG on the ground alone, and it's quite impressive.

Montee Ball and Rex Burkhead were the only 100 yard rushers allowed, and only Ball had a game over 5 YPC.

I'm going to miss THOSE Baker runs. The ones where he makes the defense really regret trying to tackle him.

Only game last year where he showed that.

This game illustrates just how screwed scUM is at QB over the next few years. Denard can't throw, Gardner has seen more work at WR than at QB during this off-season, and Shane Morris is an overrated punk that only plays well against garbage teams. I watched De La Salle's games against Brother Rice and Cass Tech, and he played like crap. Even his highlight tapes only feature games against garbage teams.

What will the scUMers excuse be next year?
