How did the OP let the person rip him off 'easily'?
Since you didn't read MSUx2's recap, a stranger made a bid on an item he was selling, paid for the item, received it, denied receiving it, and filed a claim with Ebay. MSUx2 said that Ebay will make him give the money back. That seems pretty easy to me.

I did read his recap you idiot. Sounds like an everyday transaction on Ebay. What did he specifically do that made him get scammed "easily"?

I had a similar thing happened and PayPal fucked me. I sent the item and had delivery confirmation which showed delivered. The bitch said she never got the package.
PayPal told me I needed signature delivery for them to tell her to f off...then PayPal just took $300 out of my account and sided with her. That was the last time I'll ever use PayPal/eBay.

Let me ask my question for a third time...what did the OP specifically do that deviated from standard protocol that allowed him to get scammed, or you can't answer that bit is just 'his fault'?

So what specifically did he do that allowed him to get scammed that was out of the ordinary? Where did the OP deviate from standard Ebay transactions that allowed for such a scam to take place?
I am seriously not trying to be a hard ass, but not a single person has told me what the OP specifically did to get scammed that he should have been able to see coming according to you?
