It not only gives every other team in the conference one team to focus their collective hate on, their arrogance and sense of entitlement makes them the ideal team for both the rest of the conference and for the nation to all hate, cheer against, and ridicule, for being the most overhyped and underachieving program in the NCAA.

Weird that I can't remember Iowa playing in a BCS game or who they played, not saying it didn't happen, but unless it is the MNC or Rose Bowl, no one remembers or cares outside of that teams fan base.

come on now, MSU has won 4 in a row, that carries far more cache than the 6 in a row UM won against us. It's a good thing we didn't decide to drop the program during that run.

Could not care less if you remember or not. Posterity will, and that's good enough for me. College football deems 4 bowl games (and mnc) as platform for season's best teams, and only Iowa, UM and OSU have won those games in recent years for our conference. Is it flawed? Sometimes, but that's what u get without a playoff. Yea, what would be point of those programs to keep playing?

That's not even the one I was talking about. I'll give you time to google it like you did the Alabama one. It was a game between two teams almost as pathetic as last years Splenda Bowl.

UM must field a team to keep over 1500 people working overtime at the pleather factory.
Don't forget the 500 people employed at the jorts factory and the 5 dedicated barbers in S.E. Michigan that make their livings solely off mullett sculpting. Throw in the 8000-9000 manufactured housing jobs reliant on UM and I think you can see it is vital to keep UM on the field for the economy.
