Not many people do this anymore. At least, not in my neighborhood, nor the ones near me.

Really? I know it is flying at my parents house in EL and my entire row of townhomes here in Fairfax, VA have the flag out today....

Mine is up. Actually got it from the brother-in-law who served in Iraq. Was flown over there before he gave it to me.

Memorial Day, Flag Day, Veterans Day, and the 4th of July are the only times the Spartan Flag is not flying at my house, and that is when Old Glory gets its time.

Since Friday at my house. We do it every national holiday and often in-between Wish more did.
Bigger question: how many went to a Memorial Day ceremony or service today?? I encourage you to do so. Took my recently MSU graduated daughter and she got a tear in her eye during taps (me too). I was proud that maybe I helped the next generation appreciate those who gave their lives for what we have. I never served but always felt a huge debt to all those who did/do, especially those who died or injured.

That's very cool. We bought ours through our congressman's office and paid a little extra for one that had been flown over the U.S. Capitol.
