I used the field, sections, goalposts, and the small press box below the scoreboard to line up the 3D rendering of the new Spartan Stadium scoreboard and a photo I took at a game of that endzone. Guys, it's...it's...beautiful.
* Keep in mind that these two photos are to scale with each stadium photo, HOWEVER they are NOT to scale with each other. Also, I'm assuming that MSU's 3D rendering was correct and to scale.
Some stats:
Old south end zone video board size: 567 sq. ft.
New south end zone video board size: 5,412 sq. ft.
New north west video board size: 1,653.75 sq. ft.
New north east video board size: 1,653.75 sq. ft.College football stadium video boards:
1) Texas -7437 sq. ft.
2) Miami(FL) - 6717 sq. ft.
3) USC - 6000 sq. ft.
4) Michigan State - 5412 sq. ft. (being built)
5) Arizona - 5352 sq. ft.
6) Miss State - 5217 sq. ft.
