Smoking weed in college.

Here.. I did some in HS but not college. Too much to lose between work and being an RA. tWife was becoming a teacher, too, so our party scene was considerably limited.

I was an early experimenter: started in junior high and quit until junior year of high school, then smoked steady the next..............10 years or so. Not every day, but a few times per week and now I haven't really touched it in the last 10 years. I loved a good Indica, but I have had lots of Sativa strains over the years too.....in the end, all the drug testing and potential liability makes it too much of an ass ache IMO.
I have a cop buddy that tells me the first thing they do at a fatal accident is take the blood of the drivers; if you've been smoking you have BIG problems. I'll smoke with a vaporizer when I'm retired some day: I like to get high and don't apologize for it. People who don't: more power to them.....free country and all.

This. Could care less about whether Nix or anyone else smokes weed. Likely does a lot less damage then booze.
I smoked once as a freshman because my roommate would not give up. So drunk at a Thursday night kegger I don't think it had any effect, though I felt a lot worse the next day than after most Thursday night keggers.

SWIM has been an occasional - 6 to 8 times a year - user of cannabis since age 14. SWIM would much rather smoke a joint than drink to excess.

Yep. I still drank my junior/senior years, but I overall partied less after not hanging out with my friends as much from the earlier years. Then post college, being poor and just not as interested in getting shitfaced dropped it even further.

Before 21 I smoked a lot and drank occasionally. After 21 I smoked less and drank more.

I smoked my first bowl of The Gift when I was 16. Had my first drink at 17. I've had a small country's share of both, but weed has never taken me down some of the darker paths alcohol has.

I smoked weed during and after high school, hung out with some Deadheads so we had the good buds, I enjoyed it sometimes, but I never was the type of smoker who could just smoke all the time. Eventually I started feeling paranoid and guilty when I smoked so I stopped about 15 years ago. It just stopped being something I enjoyed. I've smoked a hand full of times since and didn't enjoy it at all, so pretty much that's it for me.
Weed is definitely not as harmful to society as alcohol is, it's ridiculous that it is illegal, but I'm not one of those people that think it is harmless. Weed is not good for you, you are burning something and inhaling smoke into your lungs. Although it does have reportedly some medicinal effects, I can't imagine it's good for your immune system.

Well I have had a limited experience with weed, I have been around those that smoked it but I did not inhale because my job did drug testing. ( I really didnt want to do it anyway) Have not gotten purposely so far but I have a couple more years left.

I was drinking, smoking, straight west coasting all 4 years + internship.
Now I don't drink at all (DUI 2 weeks before graduating) but now I'm living mile high.

I wish....I'll NEVER forget going to the Rush concert circa 1982 after smoking 2 bowls of Blond Lebanese, or was it Black hash? Got so stoned with my sister's boyfriend I honestly don't remember the brand....but man what a SWEET buzz.....and the concert was heavenly on it.
