I think you are on the right track Gary.
I know that he has posted some inflammatory crap here while trolling, and hell he may even believe some of it. He does seem like a bit of a sociopath.
I just think he should out himself. Have a coming out party. Admit he's a UM grad, that he's a huge Michigan slappy who stalks their recruits and athletes on twitter, has over 10k posts on mgoblog, loathes Dantonio, lives in AA, etc. Let him just admit it and out himself so that others don't have to.
Then let him post away. We have posters from other schools here with opposing viewpoints. Nothing wrong with that. He obviously likes posting here. So let him. Just let him post as himself and end the charade.
His personality and views on the world are so odd that they might be entertaining.

Why not have some sort of minimum number of posts required before one could start a new thread (say you have to have X-hundred posts before you can start your own thread)? It should at least curb the junk he starts with new screen names.

I've seen that in other forums actually works well but where there's a will there's a way lol
