Jeeze Steve is just doing his job and reporting recruiting news. All the hostility seems unwarranted. Then again, a lot of posters freak out on here when it isn't necessary. Chill out people.

To be honest though, and this is pretty shitty but it's the truth, battle's involving scUM and OSU bring national attention while the one's with Wisconsin do not. We have only recently ascended to national relevance, so it makes sense that only coverage of our high end commits would warrant reporting from one of 24/7's national analysts. I mean, the guy has a lot on his plate covering multiple teams, so it makes sense when he doesn't cover our battle with Nebraska and WVU for Delton Williams. But when it involves a high level guy like Reschke, his bosses are telling him to cover it. Steve is only trying to do his job, and bashing him won't make him report on us more favorably as our national profile continues to rise and we recruit more high-level prospects.

I've said it numerous times. I love this board. It's awesome here. I can take it when people make comments towards me. Nature of the beast. I get that it's the culture of this board. I enjoy the language on this board an often laugh along at clever comments made in random threads. However, I'm just not going to take it on the chin when the comments from a poster are wrong. I also think that fits in with this board. I've reported plenty of good news over here since SpartanTailgate has joined the 247Sports network. I contribute to Red Cedar. Some people think I have an agenda. I say whatever to that. Just ignorant when some says that.

People pay their money to say whatever they want here. I've never deleted a comment. Keep it coming. I enjoy the back and forth as long as it never gets personal.

This site, although for the most part is great, has a tendency to pander to the scUMs out there. Journalistic integrity has to be earned and when you've got a two year old business you should take a pass on an opportunity to try and create a story as opposed to report on one.
