Rule changed this year. All he has to do is sit out a year. He loses a year of eligibility, but he didn't redshirt last year so he'll take his redshirt this year.

Hope the migraines become less of an issue, can't imagine trying to focus on football with those.

He wasn't one of Urban's recruits. Right now that can be a big negative for any bucknut player.

According to his mom, he was running with the 1's in practice a lot.

Yeah...not sure what to make of that. In Spring they made kind of a big deal about it, but who knows how bad they really are. Hopefully it was 1) controllable or 2) trumped up.
In regards to him playing DE vs DT, his size has him at SSDE already on the express to 3-tech DT. He's a talented kid, I hope he can accept moving down. Could be great for all parties involved.

Does this replace the loss of Pittman, mmmm, somewhat. I feel alot better especially seeing the slow development of Pittman on ESPN. I guess sometimes things just come around in full circle...State is on the rise!

Anyone want to re-calculate the 2011 recruiting class, since MSU picked up a pair of top 100 guys in Arnett and Hayes?
