OR reality dictates that the Sugar Bowl is largely a near sell-out yearly based upon the New Orleans and Gulf Coast region buying the tickets in advance. what you're seeing now is a slow bleed out of people asking their friends if they want their tickets (they're not going because their LSU/Georgia/Miss St/Florida aren't in it) and if nobody does, they put them on there. my tickets have improved from terrace to student section to club level simply based upon this chain of word of mouth face value sales. BCS bowls sell like this because people buy just in case tix. if the MNC was Boise St vs Stanford you'd probably see a similar odd trickle, but with higher prices.
