The OP started this thread with Otis Redding so I feel obligated to link to that dudes best recorded performance from the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival. I got the DVD set a few years ago as a present. It's three DVDs chocked full of priceless footage of the Love Generation. Jimi, Janis, The Who, The Dead, The Animals Steve Miller, Mamma's and Poppas, Jefferson Airship, Simon & Garfunkel, ect). It's my favorite Jimi performance but Otis still steals the show for me.

Otis's entire set is on youtube in two parts. The quality isn't good enough to put on the big screen and crank over surround but it isn't terrible There is some into lead in video. The performance begins around 1:40
