My friend got tickets to see it early a couple days ago, he said it was awful. He said that it was basically like watching a bad episode of Family Guy, just longer. Also apparently there were a lot of 9/11 jokes for some reason, which I'm personally not a fan of. Seth MacFarlane is just really not that funny.

My vote: Hilarious. But I'm a big Family Guy/MacFarlane fan. Fortunately, so are 2 of my business partners and on Friday, we're taking the whole office out for a late "drinking" lunch and then taking them to the movie after.
FWIW, the guys on the Howard Stern Show said it was the funniest movie they've ever seen.

Eh I'll probably watch it in theaters. My buddies are wanting to see it so I'll probably go with them opeing day..
Plus, it has my girl Mila Kunis in it so thats a plus.

I recommend everyone check out the UNRATED trailer, which can be found on Youtube or a myriad of other free sites. The trailer they are peddling on TV and in movie theaters does not give you an accurate idea of the movie's content.

Goin' to see a sneak preview Tuesday night. I'm a Family Guy fan, so I'm looking forward to it. I can see that if you don't like his stuff that you wouldn't want to see it though.

Mark Wahlberg is like the Hot N Ready of actors. I will watch a movie here and there with him in it, but overall I'd almost always want someone else in the lead role.
