Interesting. I'm in Lansing and have Direct. I'm ready to dump direct because I still don't have my local channels except thru rabbit ears. Plus I like the hopper feature. Nothing like watching a msu game and the tv keeps pixelating all the effin time
Just go to Radio Shack and buy a good antenna (I paid 89 dollars for mine) slap it on your roof and I get all Lansing locals in HD and to be honest its better quality then Direct Tv HD.

i'm in the same boat. Lansing market and have Direct TV. can't stand having to get out the dig antenna to watch sports on the local affiliates.
