Nolan showed footage to theater owners at something called CinemaCon. There are a couple of write ups floating around the web. Everyone seems blown away by the scope of the film.

It really sounds like TDKR will be the rare solid conclusion to a trilogy that has eluded many franchises.

Very intrigued to see what role Gordon-Levitt is really playing here.
That trailer also completely paints Bats as a goner. Almost too obvious.

yeah it does look like Joesph Gordon Levitt has a pivotal role in this.
And damn Bane is just one mean mofo. Cant wait for this.

I think Batman dying would be epic. I'm sure it would be done well.
It's just one story within the canon of Batman.
The franchise will live on and someone else will come up with another great version of the story.

Not sure DC, which is struggling to get its film division going, signed off on the on screen death of its most profitable and marketable property.

They could do it like they did with Magnum PI. He died and walked off into the clouds, but then he came back for another season.
They could say it was a dream or something.
