Please Hollywood do not ruin DKR

What I got in my limited viewing was that they started this together, and that with the new evil rising, Batman had to return. Couldn't make out what he said in response to Batman. Sounded like "humor me".

Listening with headphones here is what I could make out:

Ras: If you make yourself more than a man...if you make yourself into an ideal...then you become something else entirely. A legend Mr. Wayne. A legend.

Gordon: We were in this together and then you were gone....evil rises. The Batman has to come back.

Wayne: What if he doesn't exist anymore?

Gordon: He must.

I don't hear him say humor me. But he does say something unintelligible after "he must"

What I did notice is that Gordon is talking to Bruce Wayne...not Batman in the hospital (since Bruce isnt using his Batman voice)

The last bit of the trailer with Batman squaring off againist Bane is gonna be so fucking insane. I almost feel bad for Batman lol

While it seems like Gordon is talking to Wayne, please remember that production teams can piece together scenes and make something out of two entirely different shots. For instance...Wayne saying "What if he doesn't exist" could be in a scene a half-hour before we see Gordon in the hospital. I'm not putting too much credence in that shot from the trailer.

Very true. Some of these shots may not even make the final cut. We still got a long way to go until the release

Gordon says, "He must...he must."

That final shot of Batman backing down from Bane was awesome. It's interesting how the villain in each movie matches/complements Batman in a particular area:

Ra's al Ghul / Scarecrow - sense of justice
Joker / Dent - order vs. chaos
Bane - wits and physical might

I think the chanting has something to do with Bane... but it does sound like "This is Gotham, Gotham"

Honestly, I couldn't understand a thing when Gordon says "He must". Had I not known beforehand that's what he was saying, I probably would have thought it was "humor me."

Awesome trailer though. Even better on a big screen.
